Thomas Dean Slone

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Thomas Dean Slone (Tom), husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and nephew passed away suddenly at 61 years. He was preceded in death by brother Patrick Slonksnis and father Victor Slonksnis. Tom will be forever remembered by his son Thomas Slone, wife Eileen Durfee-Slone, daughter Danielle Ellison, mother Judith Slonksnis, brother Ed Slonksnis and his wife Elaine, and children: Catherine Slonksnis, Elijah Slonksnis, Rachel Shapiro, and Isaac Slonksnis; brother Victor M. Slonksnis and wife Maria Ambrosiewicz, and children: Megan Slonksnis, and Russell Ambrosiewicz; sister Michelle Yang and her son Jayden Yang; grandsons Elijah, Ethan, Ezra, and Ezekiel Ellison, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Tom was born on August 15, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, and on March 4, 1979, he gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him until his passing.

Tom graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute with a degree in Practical Theology. Over the past 39 years, he traveled the world ministering to thousands of people in crusades, churches, correctional facilities, youth groups, youth homes, schools, seminars, and conferences. As an ordained Prophet, Tom was a psalmist and minstrel who invoked God's presence and flowed in strong discernment of spirits, deliverance, impartation, wisdom, and revelation of the Lord. He consulted with law enforcement agencies on ritual abuse and gang crimes because of his occult background. He was a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer, and graduated from the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies where he learned ancient Biblical and modern Hebrew. His passion and giftings frequently lead him to visit prisons, minister to inmates, and mentor those transitioning back into society.

Tom Slone was a man with a remarkable story, a calling of God, and blessed others with the life of God that flowed through him. Tom looks down upon us and invites all to celebrate his return to Heaven, and challenges you to find Jesus and make your decision to follow Him as he did.
