Gloria, before moving up to the Portland/Milwaukie area, was part of a group of about 10 or so of us in or near Salem who met for visits, meals, and support. She was an intelligent, strong, independent woman; and, it was hard to watch the toll her disease took on her toward the end of her life. She is now free from that period of her life, and for that I am very grateful.
